Hello! I'm Ashley Sims. I was born and raised in Yukon Oklahoma where I attended Elementary, Middle, and High School. Because I grew up here, I knew that this is also where I wanted to raise my family. My husband and I have been in love and doing life together since 2005 and I became a mother in 2009, again in 2011, again in 2021, and then SURPRISE again in 2024. I have three beautiful girls and the most precious boy that are the absolute lights of my life and often the subject of my photos...when they let me. I became a pediatric nurse in 2014 where my heart for caring for children with complex care needs took over and I found a home in a wonderful hospital that I worked in for 8 years. Recently my nursing career changed paths and I now service the elderly and disabled community for the State of Oklahoma.  2016 was where my love for photography and the expanding hobbyist in me took a chance and I officially opened my business, A. Sims Photography LLC. I  dove headfirst, crossed my fingers, and hoped that people loved my art as much as I loved creating it. My business has become more than I could ever have dreamed it to be. I was voted Most loved Family Photographer in OKC for 2019 and 2020. I was named Yukon's Best of 2019 in the category of Photography studio, and I was also named Yukon's Best Choice of 2019 for Best Photographer. It is truly an honor to be recognized in the city you love by the people you love. When I started this business my promise was to always continue to better myself while delivering professional work, with a personal experience, at an affordable price. I may show up in sweats and a tshirt ( I mean, who can properly play on the ground with the kids in dress clothes) but I promise to put 110% into every session I do and deliver a product that exceeds expectations.
